Epsom Salt

Obtained from natural underground minerals, it takes its name from the Epsom Salt Station in England. It is a salt rich in both magnesium and sulfate, hence its scientific name: magnesium sulfate. Since these two elements are easily absorbed by the skin, its use is very popular in cosmetic care. Its richness in magnesium gives it soothing and relaxing properties for the body. It is often spas that can use Himalayan Salt and Epsom Salt as bath salts. While nourishing the skin, it promotes sleep for insomniacs. In practice, a dosage of 4 tablespoons in the bath water is enough to relax.

Himalayan Salt

Extracted from the salt rocks in the heart of the Himalayan mountains, this pink raw salt is especially rich in trace elements and minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, copper, manganese, phosphorus and zinc. Used in a quantity of 3 to 4 tablespoons in the bath water, it is an ideal detoxifier and remineralizer for the skin. Using Himalayan salt in cooking is also possible. However, it is not recommended to consume it on a daily basis, as it is not iodized.

Dead Sea Salt
